Bába fifth in Berlin!
The fifth place was the final result for high-jumper Jaroslav Bába in Berlin, in just finished World Championship in light athletic. In stand of that the stabile part of NUTREND Team wasn´t satisfied with his placement, it was second best placement for Czech athletes in this Championship.
For Jaroslav was the biggest problem the pause in final round. The same referred Uchovov, the leader of this year tables, who finished on tenth place. The non-planed brake came during warm up before final round. How referred Jaroslav, he was totally psychically exhausted after finish of jumping. “Physically I was Ok, but I didn´t manage it psychically,” explained his disappointment on high 128 cm and told us there was no problem with the rain. “It was pity to delay the start. After arrival at sector I felt great but afterwards I started to do mistakes. I didn´t concentrate well to precise movement. Now I can´t explain the reason. Small character in the failure plaid the ground of the stadium here in Berlin, which is really specific. I didn´t put up with that.”
Through the disappointment and self-critic we can take fifth place like a confirmation, that Jarda belongs to absolute world best high-jumpers. This fact Jaroslav Bába would like to underline this weekend during the competition in Eberstadt.
