The record and cry in O2 Arena
The top of the first year of the indoor “World – Record holders meeting” in the end of the February, was the World record in 2 miles female run. 25 years old Meseret Defar run the time 9:06,26 min and defeated her last World record by 4,24 s.

Meseret Defar redeem her promise she made for the meeting in Prague.”I am satisfied with the result. Pacers made great job and they helped me a lot. It was no problem to run fast on such a great surface, in this great hall. My target for this hall season was to beat 3 World records and in two cases I carried out, said M. Defar after run.

Russian phenomenal female pole-jumper Jelena Isinbajev was in Prague really close to beat the World Record. Even though she was sovereign and according to the hypothesis she won with the result 490 cm but after that the attempted to jump over 501 cm but she wasn´t successful. Isinbajeva defeated the second athlete, Fabiana Murer from Brasilia, by incredible 35 cm. “I think, I jumped very well but my problem was in very soft poles. I really wanted to jump the World Record for the viewers and for organizers because they were both just great. That’s the reason I cried I wanted to reward them for everything they did for me but it didn’t come off,” commentated after the meeting Isinbajev.

Even though the high-jump star Blanka Vlasic was absent there was a wonderful duel in High-jump sector. Czech female high-jumper Iva Starková “fought” long time for the victory with Spanish athlete Ruth Beiti. In the end she overpower Czech representative in jump-off, there Ruth Beiti won with the result 198 cm.
The biggest reward for the Czech viewers was achievement of Roman Novotny who won the long-jump competition with result 805 cm and he just didn’t get any chance to his opponents. With this fantastic result he improved his personal best.
World and also Czech athlete stars used NUTREND’s sports nutrition during training sessions and meeting, as well. “Everyone got ion-drink ISODRINX, delicious protein-bar DELUXE and SLEHA of course, personally I can’t imagine competition without SLEHA,” declared Denisa Scerbova – Rosolova who she took part in long-jump competition and 60 m women run.
