Nova Author Cup 2009

On Saturday 10.10. there was big cycle meeting for all bikers from Czech Republic in Josefův Důl. This race was the final one in series Author Marathon Tour. The weather wasn’t kind to all participants, there was very cold and windy, but that was not border for almost 3000 people to cross start line and to fight for best time and placement. Under NUTREND brand rode 6 bikers and Julius Řezníček, member of Club NUTEND, was in his category second.

The winner of the race was Robert Novotný in the time 1:49:27 from Factor Bike Team Teplice followed by Ivan Rybařík from Volvo Auto Hase and third one was Tomáš Okrouhlík (Factor Bike Team Teplice). Unpopular fourth place left for Jan Hruška (Cyklotrenink.com).

Members of Club NUTREND compete for start money and package of NUTREND products. 3 selected by lot were prepared to close this bike season. Because of illness didn’t come Lukáš Pelucha but the rest of them, Jelius Reznicek and Radim Nechanicky were very successful in this race. Julius Reznicek was in rainy weather and big competitive second and Radim with time 2:24:38 was 24. In his category. Under Club NUTREND started Martin Stěhna, who for this time had to attack from back position because he became start number 741, and in the finish he has 181 fastest time and it mean 134 position in his category.

For NUTREND started Hana Slováčková as well with his “drafter” Tomáš Zlámal (NUTREND) and they came to finish side to side with time 2:12:30 what was 7. place for her in her category.

One in the mass of bikers was extreme cyclist and member of NUTREND Team, Jan Knopka. He was third in his category in time 1:58:44.

With this race we closed this year bike season. We hope that everyone is satisfied and that everyone enjoyed great time on the saddle and next year we will meet again.
